Leaving all the artificiality of the city behind, we went to a place where every single thing belongs to nature. Here, in the lap of nature, we had some scary, funny and daring experiences.
“Great things are done when men and mountains meet; this is not done by jostling in the street.”
– William Blake

Being humans, we had some fears like the fear of height. We surely wanted to overcome such fears. On the first day of our camp, we arrived at the resort, sorted our rooms and selected our roommates. Then we went trekking, which was our first adventure. It can be said that trekking is a type of walking that is done for the purpose of exploring and enjoying the scenery. We thought that it was going to be easy but it wasn’t. At some points, the trek was very steep.

Those moments made us wonder if we should continue further. However, the surroundings with beautiful mountains and amazing views gave us the strength to continue the trek. We had a lot of setbacks but the trek ended on an amazing note as we reached Chaumu Devta Temple. It is an ancient temple, worshipped by people to pray for their well-being.

Leaving the roads and taking the trails helped us a lot and made us learn things that might be helpful to us in some or another way. We would like to thank EdTerra Edventures and our teachers for this wonderful experience.
