We believe that if something scares you, it might be a good idea to try it. We have conquered this fear with our experience with the help of EdTerra Edventures. We got the opportunity of experiencing adventures like trekking, rappelling and ziplining.

Our first day was all about hiking. We all were tired from travelling so the EdTerra Edventures team cheered us up. They used the ‘Yoyo’ call out to grab our attention. They first made us explore the beautiful mountains. We heard the sounds of insects like spiders and beetles. It was a four kilometres long, adventurous trek. Our final destination was Chaumu Devta Temple, which is believed to be the protector of the valley.

On our way back, we could see the Himalayan mountains with a beautiful sunset view. We could see the snow-covered mountains. We got lost in its serene beauty. Then we had an eventful night with a bonfire set up and lots of laughter. We played games like dumb charades and displayed our talent. The second day was definitely more adventurous. Rappelling was a nerve-wracking experience. While waiting for our turn, we were super excited but also super scared.

It was an excitement filled with terror. We went for it and enjoyed every bit of it. It felt amazing after completing it. After that was the time for ziplining, which was super fun. After coming back, we had a DJ night. We got to talk to our teachers, Journey Mentors and friends. The night ended on a lovely note.
