Their diet mainly consists of small mammals such as chital, barking deer and mouse deer. Some scientific studies even suggest that the endangered black panther is a genetic mutation of some big cats like jaguars, cheetahs or leopards.

Adjacent to the forest is the Kali River, famous for providing excellent opportunities to spot crocodiles. The panoramic view along the riverbanks never disappoints and is truly worth visiting.
