Travelling serves as a gateway to explore the wonders of the world — be it the miracles of nature or the marvels of man-made structures. Through this blog, we, the pupils of Delhi Public School, Khajaguda, will share our experiences from our travels to Nagpur and Pench.

Our first destination was WaghVille Waterpark and Resorts. First, we explored the water park, which was huge and featured various fun water slides. Then, we explored the adventure park, which was full of fun activities and obstacle courses. The rides here were exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. The evening concluded with a lively music and dance night.

Continuing our journey, we reached Pench, finding our accommodations at the Village Machaan resort. As the sun began to set, we embarked on a jeep safari in the buffer zone of Pench National Park. The evening atmosphere was enchanting, with the night sky adorned by a plethora of stars and fireflies. During the safari, we spotted many animals like tigers, wolves, Indian boars and deer.

The next morning, our adventure continued with a safari to one of the core zones of the Pench Tiger Reserve where we encountered a plethora of vultures and other bird species. The day unfolded with a pottery session, adding a creative and enjoyable dimension to our trip.

A bus transported us to Nagpur, where our first destination was Railway Gauge Museum, a place that turned out to be both informative and educational. The museum houses numerous historical models of trains and their components providing us with a wealth of knowledge about the evolution of rail transportation. We also visited the Raman Science Center and found it very fascinating.

Pench’s beauty surpassed our expectations; it was even more beautiful than we imagined. Nagpur, as an advanced city, offered numerous tourist attractions and historic sites, enriching our understanding of the region’s history and culture. Traveling, as reflected in our experiences, not only allows us to explore diverse places but also unlocks new perspectives within us.
