Our Journey to Pench Tiger Reserve

Our trip to Pench Tiger Reserve began with great excitement as we left school and boarded the train. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement, and we couldn’t wait to get started. We began our journey with a delicious dinner, shared some spooky horror stories, and wandered between coaches. After a peaceful sleep, we woke up refreshed, played cards, and arrived in Nagpur.

From there, we visited the Raman Science Centre, which was full of fascinating innovations and magical tricks. Finally, we made our way to the Pench resort, enjoyed a lovely high tea, and then set off on a thrilling night safari, where we spotted a brave tigress named ‘Jugni’.

The next day, we woke up early for a thrilling morning safari at 5 AM. As soon as we entered the forest, we spotted two types of deer: the Samba Deer and the Spotted Deer. We also discovered a new species, the Indian Gores, and saw the Indian Bulls. After the safari, we returned to the resort for a hearty meal and then relaxed by the pool, enjoying music from the DJ. We also met a local villager who taught us the traditional art of pottery. We all had a go at making items like diyas, glasses, flower vases, and wine glasses, which was a fun and creative experience.

Overall, the trip was filled with adventure, surprises, and many memorable moments. Pench is a stunning place, full of wildlife and natural beauty. The weather was perfect, and we had a wonderful time exploring everything. This trip to Pench Tiger Reserve was truly unforgettable, and we learnt a lot while having great fun.
