Kerala is known as “God’s Own Country” and is an immaculate tropical paradise to explore with your loved ones. We unravelled some of the exquisite places which included Alleppey, Thekkady, Munnar, and Cochin.
Our trip commenced with a day cruise in Alleppey. We enjoyed authentic Kerala delicacies that left our tummies delightfully satisfied. On the second day of our journey, we travelled to Thekkady. We learnt that Thekkady is home to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Simultaneously, we enjoyed nature’s creation and the enormous tea plantations which stretched along our way.
Moreover, at dusk, we were enchanted by the fierce and spectacular show put up by traditional “Yodhas” of the Kalaripayattu Martial Art. In addition, we experienced the iconic Kathkali folk dance which symbolises vivid face expressions. The next day, we witnessed the sunrise amidst exotic wildlife and misty fog. Later in our journey, we visited the Tea Museum and enjoyed local sightseeing in Munnar. Next, we visited the Dutch Palace in Cochin which was originally built by the Portuguese.
We enjoyed our trip to Kerala with its spectacular lush green terrain. Our group enjoyed the traditional and authentic Kerala cuisine on the popular banana leaf. As our memorable trip ended, we packed our bags and headed towards the airport to fly back home, carrying lifelong memories that will always remind us of the wonderful time we had. A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful teachers for allowing us to fully enjoy the trip, and sincere gratitude to the EdTerra team for their incredible support.
