Amber fort tells the history of our rulers, the palaces where they used to live and many other things. The fort has many interesting sections such as the Sheesh Mahal and certain tunnel sections which look really nice and mysterious. The fort is a part of our country’s history and one must definitely visit it.
When we arrived at Amber Fort, our EdTerra Journey Mentor assigned each team with a task. Our team’s name was Cheetah. We were given task cards. There were 10 clues in the task cards through which we had to find the items within the Amber Fort complex. We had a lot of fun finding those items and places with the help of those clues. We also learned a lot about teamwork. We divided our work in two pairs to finish the task as quickly as possible.
We learned the logic of structures and paintings of fort with the help of guides. We learned about the interrelation of patterns. For example, in Sheesh Mahal (broken mirrors) and the similarity of doors in Sawai Khaz. We also got to know about the different poppy seeds used to scent air.
We learnt that we should always be attentive and explore everything with detective eyes. We should be ready to learn about the history of India.
