Students are the torchbearers of the future, so they need to be included in the decisions that are taken for the benefit of mankind. The issue here is that students are being given only theoretical knowledge about the extinction of animals, but they are actually miles away from the ground reality.
We, through this blog, want to connect theory with reality and offer the readers a chance to interact with wildlife first-hand. We, the students of G.D. Goenka, Raj Nagar Extension were given this wonderful opportunity to visit Sariska National Park. This national park is home to many wildlife animals, including tigers, jackals, leopards, sambar deer and over three hundred species of resident and migratory birds
The jungle safari in Sariska National Park gave us an insight into its natural inhabitants. With over five hundred species of flowering plants, you can experience a world that is entirely different from your homes and towns. It also helped us experience nature with our own eyes, which was totally different from the pictures and videos we come across. It makes you realise that nature is something we all are part of and we should preserve it by any means.
Apart from wildlife, Sariska also has other attractions that can be explored. The small town of Sariska has this amazing monument known as Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri. Another attraction that we enjoyed was the Government Museum in Sariska.
Sariska National Park is a must-visit destination to experience nature and wildlife first-hand. It was a unique and memorable experience for us, especially because we got a chance to experience this with our friends and teachers. It helped us to connect with nature and gave us great learning experiences.
