Ranthambore: Touring a Learning Destination

If you have ever thought about visiting a place which has scenic ancient relics, majestic giant cats and thrilling jungle safaris, then Ranthambore is the place for you. Regardless of your age, Ranthambore has something to excite and calm your mind at the same time and leave you with unforgettable experiences.

Ranthambore is home to more than 40 species of mammals, 320 species of birds, 300 species of plants, 40 species of reptiles and 1 amphibian. One of the most common species found here is the Indian Gazelle or Chinkara, which is also the state animal of Rajasthan. The jungle safaris are a thrilling way to explore the wilderness, with canter and jeep rides offering an up-close and personal experience with the animals. The most exciting part of the safari is the opportunity to spot tigers, which tops the bucket list of most visitors to Ranthambore.

Did you know that Ranthambore is primarily known as a destination for tiger sightings? Its Tiger Reserve is home to a population of more than 80 tigers. Ranthambore, located in Rajasthan, is known to be a place full of food, music and culture. One of the most popular dishes served here is ‘Dal Baati Churma’ which is a local favourite.

Besides the exciting wildlife experiences, Ranthambore also has a wealth of cultural attractions, such as the Ranthambore Fort, museums, and temples. These educational historical sites add to the cultural diversity of Ranthambore and offer a glimpse into the rich history and heritage of the region.
