Eegalapenta was an adventurous journey, where we, students of the Rockwell International School, experienced the nature and culture of the place. It is a wonderful destination with many fun activities to do.
Our journey began early in the morning as we departed from our school to reach Eegalapenta. We arrived at the Mrugavani Hilltop Resort and settled into our rooms to unpack. After this, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the hotel. Post lunch, our coordinators informed us that we were going for a zip lining activity. However, the activity was postponed to the next day as it started to rain. Later on, we were taken to a tribal workshop where we were amazed to see the locals making a fishing boat, solely by using bamboo sticks. This was new to us, something which we never saw back in Hyderabad. We took a moment to appreciate that we could connect with the tribal people and give them their due respect for all the hard work.
Later in the day, we had a scrumptious dinner, followed by a campfire and stargazing. As we gazed at the stars, we felt as if the stars were peeking down at us from the sky. We ended the day with a good and refreshing sleep. On the next day, we finally did our zip lining activity, which was an amazing experience.
Overall, we have learned a lot from our Eegalapenta adventure. We learnt about the importance of keeping our environment clean and non polluted. We also felt that one should never try to feed or provoke wild animals. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Eegalapenta. Overall, it was a fun and lively experience and we would recommend people to visit and enjoy this wonderful place.
