On 20th October 2026, we went to Disneyland as part of our educational trip to Paris. When it first opened on April 12, 1992, it was called Euro Disney. We all had an enthralling experience, where we went on various rides, visited gift shops, appreciated the architecture, and learnt a few lessons as well.

The first thing we noticed was the park’s magnificent infrastructure. It was evident that Walt Disney Imagineering has put genuine time and effort into designing the park. Every single building was themed and was full of vibrant decorations, probably because Halloween was approaching. When we entered the main park, the Sleeping Beauty Castle formed a picturesque sight. The castle is painted bright pink because France has a lot of cloudy, grey days, and the pink colour makes the castle stand out in contrast against the sky. In short, Disneyland is a perfect place to fill up your phone storage with photos!

In the evening, there was a parade featuring Disney characters, which attracted the younger children. Character-shaped treats like Mickey Mouse ice cream, cookies and pizzas brought out the child in everyone and became instant crowd favourites. Multiple souvenir shops were present where merchandise could be bought. If you are fearless, the ‘HyperSpace’ Mountain Ride is a must-try. Overall, the day was quite memorable that we all will cherish for the rest of our lives. One thing to note: getting lost is very easy. If travelling in a group, take utmost caution to ensure safety. But don’t think twice before visiting Disneyland!
