Ever wondered how a shift from North to West feels, from Sukhna to Juhu, Bhatura to Vada Pav, and Elante Mall to Colaba Market? Even for five days, this switch made us feel like we were in a completely different world. On the first day, we went to Marine Drive and enjoyed the beautiful skyline. We also learnt that Marine Drive is known as the Queen’s Necklace because its lights look like a necklace at night. We sat near the sea, watching the waves in peace. The cool sea breeze instantly made us feel fresh and energetic.

Our visit to the Bombay Stock Exchange helped us understand how finance and investing work. We were amazed to know that the BSE is one of Asia’s oldest stock exchanges. The session by an experienced professional made us feel more confident and gave us amazing insights. At the RBI Museum, we saw different kinds of notes and coins and learnt how Indian currency has changed over time. Our next destination was the Elephanta Caves. The ferry ride to the caves was super fun. At the Elephanta Caves, we learnt about ancient rock-cut sculptures dedicated mainly to Lord Shiva. Our visit to Juhu Beach was truly memorable, as the waves were so big that we got water and sand all over us.

The best part of our journey was visiting the Film City. We learnt that Mumbai is home to one of the world’s largest film industries, Bollywood. Film City had many studios, and we were lucky to visit one during our trip. We were also fortunate enough to witness a live shooting of a TV programme and enjoyed every bit of the experience.

Every place teaches us something new. This five-day experience taught us how to enjoy every moment to the fullest, learn while having fun, and socialise with new people. Little moments, like almost losing our slippers, taught us to be careful at the beach. The Elephanta Caves also taught us why we should keep our food safely inside our bags. This journey will always remain a memory we will cherish.
