We, the students of Aravali International School, want to share our experience about the fabulous Koti Adventure Camp. In the wilderness of the Himalayas, our comfort zones were dissolved and we realised that the essence of life lies in embracing the unfamiliar. Here, simplicity rules, teaching invaluable lessons in adaptability. Trekking and cooking in the wild were the highlights for us at the camp. Building our own chulha was a difficult yet surreal experience.
Life in the Himalayas thrives on the bare necessities. From humble accommodations to basic amenities, each day became a wild task. But we learnt the beauty of simplicity and the joy found in life’s basic pleasures. Rope course activities were the main attractions at the camp. Just imagine, ziplining through thick jungle, along with the wind. Sounds captivating, doesn’t it? During valley crossing, pushing yourself high above a valley sounds scary, right? But it was truly divine. The Himalayas offer a sanctuary of unparalleled beauty.
Breathing in the crisp mountain air and basking in nature’s serenity was heavenly, especially for a person living in Delhi. The meals provided at the camp were simple yet nourishing. They were made using locally sourced ingredients. Every moment at this beautiful campsite brought diverse experiences. Hiking up rugged nature trails, understanding safety precautions, developing a simple lifestyle, or simply gazing at the star-studded sky—all were pathways to self-growth and discovery.
In the heart of the Himalayas, life’s greatest lessons await those willing to embrace the unknown. Beyond the peaks and valleys, lie profound truths about simplicity and adventure. So, if you ever wish to explore the mountains, Koti Adventure Camp is a must. This is the place where wisdom unfolds in the most unexpected ways.
