Set in the heart of Rajasthan, Ranthambore National Park depicts India’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage. This iconic destination offers immense pleasure to nature lovers. Its diverse landscapes, thriving wildlife and ancient ruins make it an ideal destination for an immersive educational experience. It is home to more than 38 species of mammals and 315 species of birds. It is known for its large tiger population which comprises approximately sixty-two tigers as per the 2014 census. Its diverse landscapes provided us with the opportunity to understand the ecosystem. Many conservation programmes that have taken place in the past have made it one of the most vivid wildlife sanctuaries in India.
Apart from its vibrant wildlife, Ranthambore boasts a rich historical legacy. Ranthambore Fort is a site that dates back to the 10th century and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tourism is a major industry that provides livelihood to the locals in Ranthambore. The tourists get an opportunity of learning and gaining new perspectives while interacting with the local inhabitants. Professional photographers get access to heavenly landscapes and a number of wild animals here.
