This is us, young learners of the Suncity School 37D. We visited the Jim Corbett National Park, a jungle paradise for animal lovers. We learnt that it is India’s first national park, established in 1936. Now, let’s dive deep into the world of tigers and explore what young learners like us can do here!

We had an early start to our day as we boarded our bus from Gurugram. After two hours, we arrived in Gajraula and stopped for breakfast at the famous restaurant, Haveli. From there, we continued on the journey. We reached our hotel, the Mango Bloom Resort where we were treated with a hearty lunch.

Early the next morning, we set out for an adventurous jungle safari. Fortunately, we had brought some warm clothes with ourselves which we were able to use as it was cold in the jungle. During our safari, we were able to spot many animals such as sambar deer, monkeys, bears, reptiles, leopards, and many more animals. Post the safari, we visited the Dhangari Museum where we learnt about the history of the Jim Corbett National Park. The heads of tigers and other animals were displayed who were killed in fierce battles. We were informed by our guide that animals are sensitive to temperature and their surroundings and should not be hunted.

It was a wonderful trip, full of enjoyment! Jim Corbett National Park is definitely a place worth visiting where the highlight for us was the jungle safari.
