If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to walk through clouds and stand in the snow even during the Summers, Mount Titlis is your answer. It is quite literally, the most exhilarating and mesmerising place in Switzerland.

Mount Titlis was an unforgettable segment of our journey post our Student Exchange Program. We took a coach ride there, and the journey itself felt like something straight out of a storybook. Snowy mountains were all around us and with every turn, the scenery became more and more breathtaking. By the time we reached the bottom of the hill, the temperature had already dropped. As we ascended higher using cable cars, the green hills gradually disappeared and everything turned white around us.

As we made our way up, we took the famous Titlis Rotair, the world’s first 360° rotating cable car. It rotated ever so slowly as it climbed up, giving us a beautiful view of the Alps. When we reached the top, we were all surrounded by snow, even though it was spring, which was amazing! One of the key highlights was exploring the Glacier Cave, a tunnel made inside the Titlis glacier. It literally felt like stepping into a frozen world. After all the adventure, we had our lunch at an Indian restaurant. Having been in the freezing snow, the warm and familiar food tasted extremely good.

Mount Titlis was more than just a place we visited. It was a day we’ll never forget. We are truly thankful to our school and EdTerra for making this experience possible. It’s a memory we’ll always carry. Honestly, words fall short when we try to describe how incredible the experience really was. If you ever get a chance to visit Mount Titlis, don’t think twice. Go for it and let the mountains surprise you. You really won’t regret it.
