We started our USA East Coast journey from Orlando. Orlando is a major city located in the centre of Florida, United States. Known for its famous theme parks and warm weather, Orlando has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Each year, millions of people from all over the globe visit the city to experience its attractions, culture, and entertainment.

The most famous feature of Orlando, for which we were most excited, was its collection of theme parks. We visited the Walt Disney World Resort, which opened in 1971. It is the largest and most visited theme park in the world. Nearby, we visited Universal Orlando Resort. It is home to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, which include The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. SeaWorld Orlando also offers exciting marine life shows and roller coasters.

However, on our journey, we realised that Orlando is more than just theme parks. It is also a growing city with a diverse population and a strong economy. The city has a variety of neighbourhoods, restaurants, and cultural institutions. It is home to the University of Central Florida (UCF), one of the largest universities in the country by enrollment. When we visited the Kennedy Space Center, which was near Orlando, we realised that the location is developing its technology sector, particularly in areas such as simulation and aerospace.

In conclusion, Orlando is a city full of magic, opportunity, and diversity. While many people first come to Orlando for its theme parks, they often discover much more, that it is a lively and welcoming city with something for everyone. Whether you are a student or a tourist, Orlando offers exciting experiences, educational opportunities, and a high quality of life.
