Despite it being a small country, the ‘Lion City’, Singapore, is known uniquely around the globe for its beauty and attractions. Many aspects make Singapore unique, such as the fact that it is ranked number two in safety in the world. It is truly a must-visit destination for everyone.
Universal Studios Singapore is an expansive theme park based around popular movies and nostalgic childhood series. Some of our favourite roller coaster rides included Revenge of the Mummy and Human vs. Cylon. However, if you prefer a slower ride, we strongly recommend the Transformers ride. There was also a thrilling water ride called Jurassic World, and a water show called Water World. Furthermore, we enjoyed meeting and clicking photos with our favourite characters.
Sentosa Island was full of exhilarating attractions, such as our favourite Journey 2 and the Luge. However, the Luge is always queued up, so we recommend booking beforehand. There is also a breathtaking fire, water, and lights show called Wings of Time. The story follows two young friends, Felix and Rachel, when they find a large talking parrot behind their school. The parrot states that he is from the edge of time.
To the excitement of our fellow science geeks, we visited the science museum. The displays interconnected various topics of science. Our favourite part of this attraction was the mirror maze, which confused yet dazzled all of us. Moreover, another aspect of the museum we thoroughly enjoyed was the section that showcased various phobias using intricate decorations, engaging explanations, and fun games. The Boeing Centre is the perfect place to learn more about aerodynamics. It included information-packed presentations, as well as an interactive and realistic flight simulator to nurture our knowledge of aircrafts. The flight simulator is actually a piece of a retired Boeing 737-800.
In conclusion, Singapore is a place where there is an abundance of recreational and learning activities. We absolutely recommend you to visit and create new memories with your loved ones.
