At this fun adventurous camp organised by EdTerra, we went to Majkhali, Ranikhet, situated in Uttarakhand. It was the best place to spend our summer vacations and for learning about handling emergency situations in the wild. This camp included a lot of fun activities and games as well.

We are going to share how we learnt 21st Century Skills from our adventure camp. Firstly, we participated in the ziplining activity. We learnt how to balance and hold a grip on a camping rope. We enjoyed these exciting activities a lot. Each morning, we had a rise-and-shine session where we did some exercises and played a few games to awaken our senses. In this session, we learnt how we can work as a team and help our teammates in case of any emergency. Mainly, our camp provided us with important information about how to use a first aid kit, especially in the wild.

We learnt about different types of stretchers we can make to help somebody suffering from any injuries. We were also briefed about how to build a shelter in the wild. They told us about six different types of shelters. We were given a demo and then, we joined an exciting practice session. We were able to gain skills like collaboration, social skills, flexibility, creativity, and initiative. So, this was a life changing trip, where we were introduced to new exciting information.

In this blog, we have talked about our adventure camp at Majkhali and the various activities we participated in. You should also try to visit the camp here and enjoy the bird’s eye view of Ranikhet!
