Agra Fort is one of the most famous historical monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in India, located in Agra. It reflects the glory of the Mughal Empire. During our visit, we observed its grand architecture, beautiful palaces, and rich history, which made the experience both exciting and educational.

Our visit to Agra Fort was an unforgettable experience. As we entered the massive red sandstone gates, we were amazed by the fort’s size and beauty. The fort was built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century and later modified by other Mughal emperors like Jahangir and Shah Jahan. It served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors for many years.

Inside the fort, we saw many important structures. One of them was the Diwan-e-Aam, where the emperor used to meet the general public and listen to their problems. Another important place was the Diwan-e-Khas, which was used for private meetings with ministers and special guests.

The most interesting part was the Musamman Burj, from where we could see the Taj Mahal in the distance. It is believed that Shah Jahan spent his last days here while looking at the Taj Mahal after being imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb. The wide courtyards, tall walls, and ancient rooms gave us a clear idea of how the Mughal emperors lived. Visiting Agra Fort was a wonderful learning experience. It not only showed us the richness of Mughal history but also inspired us to value our heritage. We would definitely recommend everyone to visit this magnificent fort at least once.
