Our first journey to Yelagiri in Tamil Nadu was an important experience for us. It taught us valuable lessons about adjusting to different circumstances and managing our time well. The trip also strengthened our friendship and helped us understand the true meaning of teamwork.

We were excited when the school announced our first trip to Yelagiri. We felt proud because we were the first batch from all branches to travel outside Chennai. We were also excited to know that all our friends were coming along. We had been planning this trip for about three weeks, and although we faced a few problems, we managed to overcome them. We felt that the day would never arrive, but finally the moment came.

After reaching Yelagiri, we headed straight to the adventure park once we finished our delicious meal. At the park, we completed the obstacle course which involved multiple physical activities. We also enjoyed the zipline activity and tried the king ladder game as well. We discovered that we had to win the king ladder game to enjoy go-karting for free, which made the challenge even more exciting. Later, we reached our hotel and enjoyed a bonfire followed by a DJ night. We danced for an hour and felt that this was one of the most enjoyable parts of the journey.

The next morning, we visited Fundera Park in Yelagiri. We spotted many interesting breeds of animals and various species of birds. It is widely believed that such experiences help us appreciate nature more deeply. After this, we visited the Selfie Panda Point. It is a popular attraction that includes chocolate making, games, arts, and other family-friendly activities. At the Selfie Panda Point, we learnt how chocolates are made. We enjoyed making chocolates and taking home what we made. By the end of the journey, we had learnt important social skills, life skills, team coordination, and teamwork. We would like to thank EdTerra Edventures and Casagrand International School for giving us the opportunity to explore the beauty of Yelagiri and learn so much from this journey.
