‘Amazing’ and ‘Orlando’ are two words that you will come across several times in this blogpost. These words justify our experience of visiting the beautiful city of Orlando. Being the theme park capital of the world, it is home to a large number of amusement parks. Further, there are huge shopping complexes, stunning beaches, and most importantly, NASA’s Kennedy Space Center is also situated there. Orlando itself is located in the state of Florida at the south-eastern tip of the USA.
Walt Disney World is a place of wonder, magic, and imagination. One gets the feeling of being only 10 years old even at the age of 45. It is all about staying at the wonderfully-themed hotel and experiencing the magic 24 hours a day. It is about gazing at the Cinderella Castle along with the Disney characters and at the end of the day, watching the mind-blowing fireworks explode in the sky. No wonder 52 million visitors come to Walt Disney World every year.
Next, we went to Universal Studios and especially to Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando. We enjoyed rides such as The Incredible Hulk Coaster, The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, and Jurassic Park River Adventure. The main attractions here include Poseidon’s Fury, Dr. Seuss Character Zone, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
The chief highlight of our visit to Orlando was the Kennedy Space Center. Two days are certainly not enough to explore this huge facility. The KSC is situated in Merritt Island, which serves a refuge area for a large variety of wildlife. At the KSC, we went to the Rocket Garden and saw different exhibits on space exploration.
Overall, Orlando is an amazing city, which anyone would love to explore. The beautiful environment and lifestyle of the people of Orlando makes anyone love this place. We are sure you will love to visit this place.
