Orlando is a city where you would find something new in every corner of the city. Ever since we stepped inside this glorious city, every second felt more exciting. Although every day seemed to pass very quickly, the urge to explore more places kept growing.
Orlando is home to some of the world’s most amazing theme parks. Besides the thrill and adventure that we experienced at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, we also visited the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral.
On the very first day of our trip, we visited Walt Disney World. We were shocked to see such a large crowd at one place. The best part of our visit was watching the dazzling fireworks show at Cinderella Castle. We also watched the Disney parade to greet some of our favourite animated characters.
Next, we visited Universal Studios — it had its own share of magic and adventure. We were thrilled to go on different rides in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. From the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, every attraction inside the theme park was awe-inspiring.
Our next destination was the Kennedy Space Center. We were really excited to see its exhibits and learn about space exploration. In the Rocket Garden at the KSC, we saw the glorious rocket on which the famous astronaut Alan Shepard went to space. Later, we ate lunch with an astronaut Barbara Morgan. We asked her many questions. Later, we also saw the Space Shuttle Atlantis and Saturn V. After learning about the accomplishments of scientists at the US Astronaut Hall of Fame, we witnessed the shuttle launch, which was a fabulous experience. The bus tour of the facility took us to major buildings such as the Vehicle Assembly Building.
Our visit to Orlando was awesome. The experience of visiting a Walmart store added to our enjoyment. We also went to The Florida Mall for shopping. Our trip to the USA East Coast would always remain unforgettable.
