Push yourself to learn and achieve your goals — this is what our journey taught us. Multiple school activities that we performed during our school trip taught us to push ourselves to do better in the face of hardships of life. The journey required us to stay focused and follow the schedule with complete determination. So, here we bring to you the various experiences anfond memories that we created during our trip. So, let’s dive into mountain life!

Ranikhet, located in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand is definitely a place worth visiting for nature lovers. Let’s dive into our first experience — mountain trekking. At first, it might seem to be an intimidating experience but one gets accustomed to it soon. Talking about our second experience, the low ropes course activities. It consists of two activities, the Zipline and the Multivine. All of you must have heard about Zipline, where a cable is suspended above an incline to which a harness is attached for a rider to move from one/ point to another.Next is Multivine. Most of you probably would not have heard of it, it is basically two parallel ropes attached vertically between two trees and one has to walk cautiously maintaining his/her balance with the support of the other team members.

Next was the talent show, about which we are all aware. It’s basically a creativity contest where each participant gets the opportunity to showcase his/her unique skill. Then comes rappelling. It descends down a rocky surface holding on to a rope that is fastened to the top of the rock or mountain, in a way, it is a reverse process of climbing a mountain. It seemed to be difficult at the beginning, but moments after we began, we realized that it was not as hard as it looked. And last but not the least, we had the Mega Challenge Activity. It consisted of six tasks that helped us improve our survival skills. We will not disclose the details of the tasks as we want to keep it as a surprise for all of you.

To conclude, this trek was a great opportunity for us to connect with nature. All the participants were thrilled and full of energy and that made the whole program a fun experience. It was a wonderful opportunity for those who wanted to take a break from their everyday routine and relax. So, if you are tired with your hectic daily schedule, this would be a great way to treat yourself.
