Hiranagar Camp: Embracing Wilderness, Finding Inner Harmony

We, the students of Parevartan School, would like to share our experience and reactions with you so that you will be motivated to participate in this fun camp too. On our journey, nature became our playground. Our mentors, Hamza sir and Komal ma’am, were very kind and sweet. They were very caring, which was why we were able to talk to them freely and comfortably. All the other staff at the camp were also nice and understanding.

At the camp, every facility, from food to medical care, was very satisfying. The rules and instructions were clearly stated and explained for our own safety. We participated in many activities and tasks which were very entertaining and exciting. From trekking to Maggi walk (where we learnt how to cook food with limited resources), our experience proved amazing. We felt closer to nature and were surrounded by a positive environment. The camp rejuvenated both our body and mind.

Our adventure life began at the end of our comfort zone. We conquered rock faces, crossed a valley on a rope, walked for miles, cooked in the wild, and honed many critical skills. All these adventurous activities were certainly not easy but if you have faith in yourself and everyone else, including the highly qualified and experienced instructors, then you can face your fear. Finally, don’t forget to have fun. It is not everyday that you are at a big adventure camp with your friends.
