Have dreams! Have hope! Have faith!
We celebrate Teachers’ day on September 5th. This year, it reminded me that I have completed 19 years of teaching. Yet, each day seems to be a new learning experience with the young minds. We believe each child is unique and is born with different abilities and capabilities.

At the end of each session we shortlist an all-rounder. It might be every child’s dream to be an all-rounder. But the award goes to only one student. Recipe for being an all-rounder is the same but for each child, it tastes different. But why? I believe students change the ratio and proportion of each ingredient to become an all-rounder. These ingredients include time management, discipline, being consistent, competitive spirit, collaboration, adaptability, and flexibility. All our all-rounders manage their time well and maintain the balance between curricular and co-curricular activities. Our curriculum is formed in such a way that we focus on 21st century skills from the grassroot level. But every year, when I write the names on the certificates for prize distribution, I see the same set of students get repeated. Being consistent is an integral factor of being an all-rounder.

To sum up, for being a ‘Sarvagun Samparn,’ we need to have dreams! Have faith! Have hope! We should also explore new perspectives to familiarise ourselves with the changing world. Always remember that actions speak louder than words.
