Exploring Udaipur was a great learning opportunity for us and also a wonderful chance to spend time with our friends. We learnt many things about its rich culture, heritage, and history. Udaipur is a special place because of its cultural depth, historic monuments, and great personalities from the past. We also learnt that Udaipur is known as the “City of Lakes” because it is surrounded by several natural and artificial lakes that were built to support the city’s water needs.

During our visit, we were amazed by the beauty of the city. We visited Saheliyon ki Bari, Moti Magri, City Palace, Bagore ki Haveli, and Kumbalgarh Fort. All these places were impressive and full of history. We saw ancient clothes worn by rulers, old monuments, royal rooms, paintings, and manuscripts that helped us understand how people lived in earlier times. At City Palace, we learnt that it is one of the largest palace complexes in Rajasthan and took nearly 400 years to complete, with contributions from several Maharanas.

The tour guides explained many interesting facts to us. One important thing we learnt was that the wall of Kumbalgarh Fort is one of the longest walls in the world after the Great Wall of China. We were surprised to know that the fort is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located in the Aravalli Range, making it naturally strong and well-protected. Many of the places were overcrowded, which showed how popular and attractive these monuments are for tourists. This made us realise the importance of preserving heritage sites for future generations. Overall, it was a very fun and educational experience for all of us. In conclusion, Udaipur is a beautiful city with a rich past and many places to explore. Our trip went really well, and it will remain a memorable journey for all of us.
