EdTerra has dedicated staff who work very hard to keep students safe. We conduct regular and rigorous trainings for our staff and have clearly laid protocols for emergency procedures. We assess all factors that impact our operations and are able to prepare and share with students, teachers and parents exact areas of concerns, best practices and methods to prepare the student for the safest possible experience.
EdTerra is your friend and guide during your Truly Educational adventure into unfamiliar lands. From our experience we have prepared the list of items you will need to carry on the journey.
And while you pack in this stuff, do pack in mannerisms and etiquette that help you:
– Represent your country in the foreign land
– Earn respect by showing empathy and understanding for their culture
EdTerra believes that there should be no difference between what you expect from an EdTerra experience and the experience you get on-ground. In that regard, purely in terms of services, here is what you can expect from EdTerra.
Safety is a measure that works best when the safety provider and the one seeking safety work together. Responsibility is the precursor to safety. Here are some Travel Rules & Guidelines we expect you to honour for your own safety while on a journey.
The Lead Teacher/teachers chaperoning the students from the school on EdTerra journeys play a very vital role in student safety, student discipline and student engagement with the program. Their partnership with our Journey Mentor and the Local Tour Guides from time to time makes the journey a rich experience for the students.
