Orlando is a city which is full of lively people, greenery and scenic beauty. As soon as we entered this city we were all stunned by its beauty and cleanliness. Our six days in Orlando were filled with fun and learning as well as gaining knowledge in the perfect ratio. Our visit to the Disney Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios and Kennedy Space Centre was our trip’s highlight.

On our first day in Orlando, we went to Downtown Disney District, which had a variety of fashion outlets and restaurants with full entertainment and live music. With the sun shining brightly on our faces, we just couldn’t resist ourselves and tried to capture every moment by clicking as many photos we could. Our expedition to the Disney Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios was an adventurous and magical experience.

Kennedy Space Centre, Florida was just amazing and we learned a lot about space, rockets and Astronauts. Did you know Saturn V is the only rocket to go on the moon and back? The Cape Canaveral, Florida is also known as the launch pad for space flights and all manned flights from the USA are launched from here. We were left awestruck when we saw the eye-catching and electrifying launch of Falcon 9.

Our lunch with an Astronaut couldn’t have been better. Astronaut Maxim Wilson answered all of our queries about space and Astronauts. He also talked about his 24 years of experience working for NASA and about the various problems they face due to microgravity.

We feel that travelling and exploring is a major part of life. Visiting a city which is full of opportunities and comfort is just what we all aspire for. Our teachers, friends and relatives will surely be inspired and motivated to travel in this beautiful country as well as proud of us for venturing out of our comfort zone.
